sooooooo...our 11 year old husky, lennon, has taken a shine to paper in the last couple of months :(
i have come home on numerous occasions to find shredded envelopes, kids drawings & greeting cards either in the house or out on the deck. when i go to cut the grass & pick up the dog poop before hand they can be in an assortment of most colors!
he even ate my birthday card & pedicure voucher from my friends.... (funnily enough he seems to chew up anything that my fabulous friend jackie gives me...)
the vet said he's angry & being spiteful, which makes sense as this happens when we are out.
but now, apparently, he's moving onto bigger things!!! last week we return home to discover this:
poor sponge bob! ~ this was bad enough... but what makes it worse ~ it's a library book & somehow i'm thinking tape isn't going to help, not even magic tape!!
then 2 days later...
another library book... well at least the title seems appropriate...

[ wellies!...]
sooooooo...i finally ordered 'rain boots' wellies for my boys, oscar 5 & flynn 3. we had been studying the internet for quite some days deciding on which style ~ believe me there are a lot to choose from! luckily the ones flynn picked out weren't available in his size because he changed his mind over the same pair... several times.
we finally decided which ones, police for oscar, firemen for flynn. i went to order them from amazon, & what... there were no size choices... how could this be! one boot fits all?
so i rang amazon & because it is an outside distributor all they could do is give me their number.
on the other distributor's website they were more expensive (of course!) ~ but the lovely company honored the lower price & when they checked, it had gone down even more! music to my ears!! to get free shipping i had to but myself a nice pair of all black converse chuck taylors, naturally ~ but it was all still a bargain!!!
everyday, at least three times, the boys would be asking me have the boots arrived yet? when will the boots be here? how many more days? have they forgotten them? can you ring & find out...
i pick the boys up from school yesterday & rush back for oscar's piano lesson. but wait.... what was on our porch, a big brown box... the boots had arrived! everyone was jumping up & down super excited, yelling to open the box. first though i had to find socks & help with those (putting on socks when you're super excited is not the easiest of tasks) (i've said it before & i'll say it again, thank goodness humans only have 2 feet!) i unwrap everything as fast as i can. oscar's came out first, tied together with that crazy elastic. next came flynn's. he's opening his box up in double speed... the first thing i notice is there's no elastic on flynn's... as i walk over to flynn i look at his boots in horror ~ they've sent 2 right feet!!! oh come on!! by now oscar is wearing his doing the welly dance shouting that these are the best boots in the world & that he LOVES them... poor flynn's face as i explain to him that there's been a mix up ~ i promise to sort it out...
doorbell rings ~ its the piano teacher
flynn & i decided to clean out our beta fish, spiderman, while oscar has his lesson. i carefully catch the fish in a small bowl, place it on the counter & proceed to clean the pebbles & vase. we'd just got everything clean when oscar comes in the kitchen crying.
he's had a falling out with his piano teacher!!! i think it was a mixture of tiredness, not wanting to practise & him hearing flynn & i having fun.
after i talk to the teacher & he talks to oscar & things seem to be better i decide to put the fish back into the nice clean vase. i look into the small bowl & just see water... i know i'm forgetful maybe i put the fish back & didn't remember... then it suddenly dawned on me..... oh no... kamikaze fish... he must have jumped out!! i start yelling to the boys to help me find him... i can't see him... i'm frantically looking everywhere... oscar has burst into tears saying he's dead... i run around to the other side of the worktop & i suddenly spot a little flipping fish on the floor... it's weird, 'spiderman' is really red in the water, but out of it he's nearly black. i try to get hold of him without damaging anything!! he seems [knock on wood] to be fine!!!
and.. i rang the company that sent the wrong boots & first of all they told me i had to send the old ones back first... but after i explain the situation & how upset flynn was they overnighted them!!
great company ~ i would definitely recommend them!!

[ I'M ANGRY WITH 6 FLAGS SAFARI!!! ]
sooooooo... my beautiful boy, flynn, will be 3 next week, oh how the time flies... as usual i'm planning to get as much as possible into a day!! we wanted to take him to 6 flags safari, neither of my boys has been on one before, so hopefully a fun time will be had by all!
i read that they open at 9am... but i suddenly thought... let me just ring to make sure if that would be a good time to come... i want my boys to experience some animal action & wasn't sure if everyone would be up yet...
i call the number & speak to the operator ~ she says that no-one has any idea what time the animals get up, there is no good time to come.
so i ask do the animals sleep at night? she replies i have no idea....
because, sadly for her, that answer doesn't satisfy me & i stay on the phone she transfers me to someone else.
this was a much friendlier person ~ who thought i had a very good question, YEAH!!, but didn't know the answer, BOO!!
so she transfers me to another 'lady'
firstly ~ i was shocked by her curtness... the whole attitude was what the hell are you bothering me for, i have no intention of helping you & basically let me as rude & ignorant to you as possible to reinforce that!!
i politely asked my question... is there a better time to come in the day where the animals are more lively??
she tells me that 'ma'am' (oooooooooooo i love being called 'ma'am!!! ;) 'ma'am this is a safari, not a zoo. we don't know the animals behaviour.'
YIKES! i repeated what she's said to make sure i heard her right... really, no-one has any idea about the animals behaviour.
that's right.
i told her i found that really sad.... you are meant to be a safari, taking care of these animals ~ yet no-one has any idea (& by the sounds of it doesn't even care) about them...
& also she 'informs' me there is no-one who will know.
(this doesn't instill me with any confidence whatsoever. so there could be some crazy rhino out there snorting, running round in circles about to charge a car or a sick giraffe lying on it's back with it's legs in the air & no-one would think that that was unusual because no-one knows any of the behavioural habits of the animals they are meant to be taking care of!!)
she says ~ this is the information desk (OH!!! i must be really stupid!! where i come from, that's ENGLAND, please cue the song 'land of hope & glory', an information desk would be where you were given information... which i'm sure they hope, would reflect kindly on their business, be friendly~ish & maybe even if they don't have the answer find something out...) but apparently 6 flags safari doesn't give a toss about any of that!!
anyone got any ideas what to do as a family activity for a 3rd birthday???

[ laundry hazard!! ]
sooooooo... you would not believe what happened to me today!! i put a load of washing on, it was whites so i didn’t have very many in there! actually when the boys started karate i was really worried how i was going to keep the suits white!
i put the detergent in the cup & dropped it in the top loader. it hit the bottom & sent up a jet of soap. that wouldn’t have been bad if it hadn’t gone straight in my eye!!! oh & it stung!! i rushed upstairs & stuck my eye under the kitchen tap. i rinsed, splashed even got a shot glass filled that with water (sadly!!) & stuck that on my eye.
it burned & burned... i remembered there was an eye doctor about a block away... so i grabbed the boys & drove round. they were really lovely!
when the doctor looked in my eye with the light all i could see was my veins!! she said it was burn’t! this was eco stuff too!! if it wasn’t i think i’d be shopping for an eye patch!
unbelievable! it’s really weird my eye is so dry, then i put drops in & it’s dry again in 2 seconds!!
this would never happen to bono or ray charles!!

[ a phone, a phone... my kingdom for a phone! ]
sooooooo...i went for a pedicure (which i have to say i hardly ever do). my husband drops me off & as i'm shutting the door i say i'll call you when i'm done. as soon as i let go of the door i knew my phone was in the cup holder inside. i chase the car yelling but like these things seem to pan out... no one heard.
so i go for my pedicure... i thought it was funny when the lady doing my toes put her glasses on to paint! so for all the cutting & plucking etc etc she couldn't see properly!! excellent!!!
i leave & am lost!!! no phone!! wow ~ i'm amazed at how much we rely on these objects. what do i do now ~ i mean i can't ask a stranger to borrow theirs to make a call... because my feet have been rubbed in lotion i 'skate' in my flip flops to customer service & ask if there are any 'public' phones (who knows if such devices still exist!)
the lady at the desk has to stop her personal call to direct me to the where they are in their rightful place right outside the toilets!!! i speed skate there & look at the device as if it is some foreign object. i see that i'll need 50¢ so i pull out everything in my bag to find the right amount in coins... a mountain of junk later i proceed to pick up the receiver. i've got to say it was a really yukky feeling having to press it next to my ear. i dial my husband's number & oh what a surprise a voice came on saying this number can not be completed as dialed & i'm taking your money!!
UNBELIEVABLE!!!! i try again & the same message. no money given back... the phone might as well have burped!!!! i went straight into the toilets to wash my hands & ear!!! thinking about it (before everyone had a mobile) i used to spend hours on those phones!! in phone booths!!! & not bat an eye lid! wow!! i must be turning into a germaphobe in my old age!!
luckily my husband rang me & came found me when he realized what i'd done. but seriously!! how do people manage without a mobile? i know that both my mom & dad don't have one. or... maybe life is just easier that way!!
A horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse
Meaning
One of Shakespeare's best known lines. The quotation is sometimes now repeated ironically when someone is is need of some unimportant item.
an exclamation from the play King Richard the Third , by WilliamShakespeare; the king cries out, “A horse! A horse! My kingdomfor a horse!” after his horse is killed in battle, leaving him at themercy of his enemies.
CATESBY:
Rescue, my Lord of Norfolk, rescue, rescue!
The king enacts more wonders than a man,
Daring an opposite to every danger:
His horse is slain, and all on foot he fights,
Seeking for Richmond in the throat of death.
Rescue, fair lord, or else the day is lost!
KING RICHARD III:
A horse! a horse! my kingdom for a horse!
CATESBY:
Withdraw, my lord; I'll help you to a horse.

[ what a pong! ]
sooooooo... finally we have this beautiful spring weather! ~ once more we can enjoy being outside watching nature burst into life! literally... i swear the tree in our garden got blossoms in under 2 days! it was like popcorn!
so why oh why does this have to be ruined but that disgusting smell of yuck yuck yucky mulch??!!
as soon as the weather gets nice steaming truck loads get delivered everywhere & every inch of earth is covered... tree bases turn into mulch volcanoes... flower beds into seas of the stuff! it's an obsession!!
the concoction smells like it's made up of hippo & baboon pee infused with lizard poop!! (no i'm not familiar with any of those!)
my friend basit would say it's because my nose is too big!! but i have a few things to say to that but will limit them to 2:
1 pot calling the kettle black
2 & it takes one to know one ~ seriously!!!
apparently ~ sour mulch smells like vinegar, ammonia, sulfur or silage. GOOD mulch smells like freshly cut wood or has the earthy smell of a good garden soil. mmmmmm ~ no-one appears to be using the good stuff!
mulch that is not aged properly will also have a problem with smelling bad, as organic matter decomposes it gives off heat and it will also give off an odor. if there is too high of a nitrogen to carbon ratio then you will get a foul odor from the mulch as it ages in the pile.
most of the really cheap ones cut corners to produce the mulch by using some shredded bark and adding sawdust to the mix, then add some sort of nitrogen source to it from either animal waste or solids from a municipal sewage treatment plant ~ nice!
isn't the states where artificial flavors & smells were invented?? add some to this stuff pleeeease!!!
*COCOA MULCH can be toxic to dogs

[ stupid elmo! ]
sooooooo... a lovely friend of mine bought the boys passes to sesame place for their birthdays. (it's a sesame street theme park, with lots of water play) i confess i have been i think twice... but yesterday, i thought, what a beautiful day it will be today & asked the boys if they wanted to go! i swear they would have done back flips if they could! they were MEGA MEGA excited!! they call it elmo slides.
so most of yesterday was spent discussing this adventure, what we were going to take with us, what we were going to ride on etc etc & that it was going to be tomorrow... you have to go to sleep all night first & then we'll go!
the first thing that comes out of their mouths this morning was 'we've been asleep can we go to elmo slides now!!'
we packed towels, swimming trunks, sunscreen, hats & 9 million other random objects, items of clothing, most probably a piece of furniture or 2 (well it just felt like that when i lifted this enormous bag!)
oscar didn't complain about having to find his shoes & even put them on his feet without being prompted, they weren't on the right feet... but i appreciated the effort!
i hopped online to check the address & somehow stumbled on the page that said it doesn't open until may!!!!! i thought no this can't be true, it's easter for goodness sake!! so i rang them & they're closed till may...
it's 9 o'clock in the morning, i have 2 hyped up little boys & i am about to burst their bubble. i call them over & break the news... flynn, 2, took it remarkably well... oscar, 4, started screaming & crying... then flynn says 'can we go to elmo slides now!' it's going to be a loooooooooooong day!
i ask them if they would like to go to the zoo instead... flynn says yes, but oscar isn't having any of it... i rattle off a list of places & the only one that sparked a twinkle in his eye was chuck e cheese... so off we go... it's a GORGEOUS day & we are going to be stuck indoors in an arcade like setting...
i really dislike that place... & here's why...
my friends came to visit me from MA, yes chris & helen that's you! helen had to go into the city & i took chris, his 2 children & my 2 children to chuck e cheese. this was in the days when flynn was still in the stroller that the car seat clicks on. often when i'd lift flynn out the stroller would fall back from the weight of my overloaded bag. i'd been in a hurry that morning & surprise surprise couldn't find my car keys... so i grabbed the spare & off we went.
we'd played & played on everything, had the yukky food & were more than ready to leave... i looked in the cup holder of the stroller for the car key & it wasn't there... chris in the meantime was putting ski suits on his children in anticipation of going out in the cold to the car. i pull my bag apart looking for the key ~ it's NO WHERE!!! i'm going hot & cold all at once. oscar starts crying because he is so tired & over excited... i asked a member of staff if anyone has handed in a key... nothing. i start looking under rides for it, getting carpet burn on my cheek... i am now panicking!! where the hell is it!!! strangers are going through my bag trying to help me...
then a cheerful chuck e cheese lady comes over & says with a beaming smile, i haven't found your key but i have found LOADS of tokens... mmmmmm!! not helping me... i felt like saying 'great!! go have fun on the rides then!!'
i suddenly thought... what if someone took my key... & my car... but it was still there!
chris's children had super rosy cheeks from wearing their outdoor clothes, oscar's crying had got 10 times worse... & flynn was starting up too...
then this really really nice lady, with about 6 children, took over & said listen i'll give you a ride home & you can get your spare... so that's what happened. arhhhhhhhhh!! what a wonderful person!!
i never found the key, i wonder where it is... a replacement costs $265
& ok ok... elmo's not stupid!!

[ organizing for dummies... ]
sooooooo... i'm reading 'organizing for dummies' which personally the 'for dummies' titles are slightly offensive!! i know i'm crap at it that's why i bought the book, rub it in a bit more why don't you!!
feeling really inspired (maybe a bit too inspired) & as one of my news years resolutions is to de-clutter de-clutter de-clutter... i decide to organize my kitchen cupboards...
due to the fact i'm really really bad at anything 'tidy' this involves me pulling everything out of said cupboards making a huge mess & wishing i'm never started this job.
10 minutes later i would rather just admit i'm a dummy & do something more fun.
1 hour later ~ this is taking far longer than i thought or want... i wonder if there are cleaning fairies that would take pity on me... oh please.
i know this is mega mega wasteful but i'm examining all the packages hoping they are past their best by dates so i can toss them instead of having to put them away!
the tv is on & i can hear it's that episode of olivia when she does magic... i wonder if i can invite that pig round here & get her to make this mess disappear... it's times like this i wish i was samantha from bewitched & could twitch it right.
my boys keep going through the kitchen shouting 'beep beep', because they can't get through... this was cute the first dozen times... 'mommy you made a mess' isn't helping me either...
organizing is great when it's done, but what a depressing work out to get there...
i s'ppose i should get my butt back in there because i haven't finished yet... boo hoo hoo

***UPDATED!! [ i can't get in my package! ]
***UPDATED EDIT BELOW ORIGINAL POST:
sooooooo... i buy oscar a toy for his birthday... & need dynamite to get the packaging off!! why oh why do all these packages need to be wired up with 3 million pieces of wire & plastic bits & pieces. is this some sort of ploy to make extra jobs?
all i know is that it makes my life really difficult when you have a 4 year old unable to contain his excitement while i'm untwisting as fast as i can to free the object from it's box!!
that is someones job to twist all those wires... & i swear whoever twists them - twists them the opposite way you'd go on purpose!!
the packaging i detest are those plastic 'shells' that are impossible to open without the aid of a circular or chain saw! & those so & so's are sharp! i wonder if they make these like this so, god forbid, you need to return it you've opened the packaging.
some flat pack furniture gives spanners or allen keys with the bag of nuts & bolts to help you put them together... these boxes should be giving mini wire cutters!
there should be new labeling too ~ instead of 'assembly', it should read 'dis assembly' required!!
***UPDATED!!!!
soooooo... i still can not believe this packaging!! it was christmas day yesterday so we had a 'few' items to remove from their boxes! WOW!! ok so there were the expected 2 million twisty wire ties, industrial tape & cable ties but this is a first for me... we got oscar & flynn a truck each that actually had to be UNSCREWED from their boxes, but not with a regular sized screw driver an unusual little one!! it took around 10 minutes to get everything out.
but finally.... we received matchbox vehicles & they have it right... it was secured in the box but was very easy to remove without any tools! HOORAY!!!

[ ebay ~ half.com ]
sooooooooooo..... i got caught out... please let this be a warning to you!
i bought this stupid book to do my praxis test with from ets. if ANYONE is going to do their praxis test don't buy 'the' book ~ they are rubbish!
so i decide to sell it on half.com.... someone wants it... i wrap it up, take it to the post office & send it media mail...
a few weeks later the buyer sends me an email telling me they haven't received it yet... i write back saying i sent it!
then... i get an email from ebay... saying that they are issuing a refund from me to this person because i have no proof of the book being sent & the buyer has not received it...
basically it comes down to my word against theirs!!
my only constellation is... that book is crap!!

[ brrrrring brrrrring ]
sooooooooo...i'm going to sound really old now but i can't stand automated phone messages! first of all what is this? ~'please listen to all our options as they have recently changed...' yeah right!! this has become the standard message... if i was making a phone message for a company i would probably use that line! why is there the need to say that? it doesn't make me listen harder... in fact i have this extremely annoying habit of switching off while that message is going on & then i'm left having to make a completely blind selection or... hanging up & going through the whole process again.
there is a higher than normal calling volume, expected waiting time is 9 hours!!
then finally... ok i'll get you to a representive but i need a bit more information first... no you don't!! because whatever i provide you with now i'm going to have to repeat again to the actual human being that will hopefully grace me with their presence!!
the worst is when i'm driving along & it's one of those messages where you have to make your selections verbally... first of all it that's IMPOSSIBLE when you have your kids in the car... especially when oscar starts repeating everything i say!! & also for some reason... maybe it's my british accent they NEVER understand me!! i end up arguing & getting really irate with an electronic voice, it's ridiculous!!
& when they haven't understood they say 'sorry i'm having so much trouble understanding you' you & me both buddy!
when my first child, oscar, was a baby & i was on maternity leave i got into the routine of 'trying' to breastfeed while watching the tara banks show followed by montel!!
well on one of the tara shows she told us about free 411. my ears pricked up because, i know this sounds mean, but i HATE paying to have a number looked up. this free 411 has got to be the worst version in the entire universe of whatever the system is to understand voices. i swear it's put there on purpose so you then dial the actually 411. i've had many an argument with the automated voice & shown 'her' by hanging up & dialling 411!
but...i still torture myself with it...optimistically thinking maybe this time it will understand me!!! i even put on the 'best' american accent i can possible muster (which i have to say is pretty horrible).
if anyone has any 'beating the automated system' tricks they'd like to share i'd love to hear them!
& just in case anyone wants the free 411 info it's 1 800 free 411 ~ GOOD LUCK!!

[ it's a good job i'm a bitch!! ]
sooooo... i take my 2 year old for his physical. everything is A ok. i was surprised though, no shots ~ but secretly relieved!! i mean seriously i'd rather get 'stuck' 10 times myself than sit gripping my baby so the doctor can prick and make him scream!
i did ask about 3 times though.. no shots?? oh i felt sure there would be shots.. i'm glad he 's not having shots... but what do i know.
a few days later theres a message on my answer machine at home.. it's blah blah blah from the pediatrician's office... your son needs shots, you need to bring him back. oh for the love.....
my son then develops this cough.. trying to not be a neurotic mom i leave it 3 days... it doesn't get any better & he won't use the nebulizer no matter how exciting i make it!! 3 days is my limit.. i then get into panic mode! luckily for me (& my children!!) my pediatrician will always fit us in. so off we went...
i love my pediatrician (it wasn't always that way, but that's a whole other story!!) & i love the staff too. i go to pay my high co-pay & it's with someone i don't know... & quite frankly wasn't warming to... i mean really... who wears false eyelashes to work, unless you're marilyn monroe or an actress... does marilyn fall into that category??
anyway i'm handing over my credit card and mention that someone had left a message on my answer machine saying my son needed shots... she says with a snotty air, no he doesn't, nonchalantly looking at his chart...who left that message? i said i don't know, it wasn't someone i recognized... it could have been you! ouch!!! in a don't be stupid voice... she scoffed, ME???? it absolutely WASN'T me!!! (in unspoken words & gestures....how dare you accuse me). oh ok ~ i say... so he definitely doesn't need shots then?? no, i've already told you... he definitely doesn't need any... so i say, why would some call me then?? she flutters those falsey's at me and exhales 'i have no idea!' - meow pussy cat!!
i sit down in the busy waiting room... watching my kids climb all over the germ infested toys! that once i would have sprayed and cleaned with 'clorox everywhere' before allowing them anywhere near them! i'm thinking... i know i'm sleep deprived, drink too much wine & a bit neurotic but this is my sons health, why on earth would someone leave me a message if my son didn't need shots. i ring my answer machine at home to see if the message is still there... i don't hold out much hope though, i'm very untidy & not well organized. oh here it is...
i have the message ready, walk over to eyelash girl's desk & ask who is jacqueline? without looking up... that's me. oh... have a listen to this & i hit speaker!! color drained from her face... she develops a 'just swallowed a wasp' expression. i have never seen anyone backpedal so badly or got that much pleasure out of it! ah yes you ARE right! FINALLY ~ when am i ever called that!! fan fare...
thank you very much!! GOODNIGHT!!

[ wegmans on saturday afternoon ]
sooooo i went grocery shopping with my 2 boys, oscar 3 (nearly 4) & flynn 2. we go to wegmans, my favorite grocery store, and also the root to my family's financial ruin!! it's saturday afternoon & i suddenly remember why i don't usually go at that time.. everyone is there!
of course the only shopping cart with the truck in the front is nowhere in sight, much to the unknown relief of all the shoppers ankles i will be behind!! those carts are unbelievably long & i never seem to master that length. i've sent a few displays swaying in the past...! but they have always seemed to stay upright ~ phew!!
the boys graciously settle for a regular cart. oscar insists in getting in the front seat part & being buckled up with the safety belt... where oh where did he get this super square streak i will never know. if i so much as go an inch without that belt being clasped he tells everyone around him... snitching on his mother!, leaving me to 'laugh' it off, oops i 'forgot' sweetie avoiding horrified looks from safety conscious passes by!!
flynn is trotting along side, with his super cute old man style run, smiling away and getting into 99% of everyone's way around him.... this really sorts the wood from the trees & you can spot 'kid haters' a mile off, with their disapproving snarly faces, with a 'how dare you have children - 1 & 2 - dare to bring them out of the house & into a supermarket!' these people used to really upset me, but not anymore!! this is life ~ try dealing with it!! then you get the lovely people who seem pleased to have been made to stop to let my son trip on by, love those people. by the way, just want to say sorry to the old bag, who was very irritated by flynn & was fuming when he managed to get in her way the 5 other times!!! hahahaha!! the BEST part is flynn is totally totally oblivious to it all & just smiles away!!!
the shopping trip was about an average one half way through. oscar checked off a couple of the things from the list i made him.. but then lost interest. they started slowing down & getting a bit whiny... but nothing a push-pop couldn't sort out!!
then... flynn decided to sit in the cart and then.. fall asleep... normally this wouldn't be a problem, but today he just couldn't get comfortable in the cart (probably the cans of sweetcorn he was lying on) and this resulted in him insisting that i have to carry him. so i'm struggling a bit now... flynn in my arms, getting heavier by the nano second and me having to pull the cart with the shopping & oscar in it. i go to a shorter line to check out. there is someone with lots of shopping on the conveyor belt, next is a man, happy 'almost' newborn strapped to his chest, just stood there. i'm wondering firstly how am i going to get all the groceries onto the belt, keep hold of flynn & hope i don't put my back out! then i'm thinking, why isn't this man getting out of my way, theres lots of empty space now on the conveyor belt... come on move out the way!!
then his wife rocks up with over flowing shopping cart... he was just holding the place!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!
how can people just ignore stuff like that!! i would have let him go first & i probably would have given him a hand too
so i'd like to say a BIG thanks for not letting me in! my 2 year old is fast asleep & heavy!!! thanks for ignoring that & hope you have a very pleasant evening!!!
